ABOUT
The KU Supply Chain Management Club is a student-run organization within the University of Kansas School of Business. Its purpose is to promote the field of supply chain management to students of all years of study, and to raise awareness for the opportunities it provides.

Supply chain management is not a new field. The business processes it entails have been ongoing for many years. Purchasing, sourcing, transportation, inventory management, operations, warehousing, continuous improvement, and quality management are areas that have existed much longer than the term “supply chain management,” and yet a supply chain must encompass all of these concepts.
Because it is such a new term, many people, including current and soon-to-be college students, have never heard of it. The Supply Chain Management Club is a resource dedicated to students so they can learn what this cutting-edge field is all about directly from professionals within the industry.
