Meet the Officers
Hannah is a junior majoring in Supply Chain Management with two minors in Environmental Studies and Music. With her degree she hopes to reduce emissions and waste within the supply chain processes in businesses and focus business strategy in sustainability. Hannah is interning with Koch Industries this summer to see how natural resources are distributed through supply chain. She is pursuing a career in consulting or business strategy in sustainable supply chain management. Her favorite part of the club is getting to show students the different areas you can focus in supply chain, as it was the leading factor in her choice of major and career path.
Jake is a junior from Shawnee, KS double majoring in Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics. He is currently searching for a Supply Chain Internship for the Summer of 2020. Previously, Jake served on the Supply Chain Management Club Executive Board as the UBC Representative/Undergraduate Outreach Officer. He is currently working as an SCM 310 TA for Joe Walden. Jake has an actve interest in following the Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and Los Angeles Lakers. Jake's favorite part of being on the Supply Chain Club Executive Board is helping connect students and supply chain professionals.

VP of Operations
Samantha is a senior from Chicago studying Finance and Supply Chain Management. She hopes to work in logistics or purchasing in supply chain either back home in Chicago or out east. Samantha currently works as a Human Resource Specialist at the Kansas Memorial Union, as well as being a TA for the Procurement course at KU. She is also the Vice President of Finance for Kappa Delta Sorority. Samantha's favorite part about being in the Supply Chain Club is the chance to network with professionals and learn about the different job opportunities available in supply chain.
Yoni is a sophomore majoring in Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics. Last summer, Yoni had an internship with a 3rd party logistics firm, and during high school, he created a company that sold lawn and garden products on Amazon. In addition to serving on the boards of both the Supply Chain Club and Rock Chalk Investing club, he also is an active blogger on his aviation blog, ykaviation.net. Yoni's favorite part of being on the Supply Chain Club board is planning engaging events to help our members jump start their careers. He hopes to start a career in management consulting or the airline industry.

Haley Bates is a senior, double majoring in Supply Chain Management and Management & Leadership. This summer she has the opportunity to intern with Koch Industries, working in the Procurement department with Flint Hills Resources. She hopes to continue her career in procurement after graduation. This fall, Haley will be a TA for SCM 402. She also serves as the New Member Director for her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. Her favorite part of the club is connecting with fellow supply chain students and professionals as well as exploring different supply chain career opportunities.
VP of Member Experience and Strategy
Keonna Glenn is a junior majoring in Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics. Keonna has attended trips with the club and studied abroad in Germany where she identified a supply chain problem and solved it. Experiences like these have further developed her interest in supply chain management. Now, she is a major advocate for hands-on learning opportunities because she believes we learn so much outside of the classroom. In addition, Keonna received a certificate for Excellence in Supply Chain Engagement from the Supply Chain Club last fall. It encouraged her to become more involved and expand her knowledge in the field. Keonna is looking forward to using the SCM Club in exploring opportunities for her future career. She is most looking forward to networking with other club members and professionals as well as learning about the wide variety of supply chain opportunities and excited for the upcoming year!
Tom Patton is a Lecturer in Supply Chain & Operations Management at the University of Kansas – he delivers undergraduate courses at Cap Fed Hall and the KU Edwards Campus. In addition, he teaches Procurement for KU’s SCM Master’s Degree program for the US Army at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. His SCM & Operations teaching is focused on Procurement, Operations Management and Capstone. In addition to his efforts with the KU SCM Club, he is the faculty adviser for Competitive SCM Case Study Teams, the faculty liaison for the KU SCM Advisory Board of Directors and the AIO representative to KU’s Center for Teaching Excellence. Patton received his BS in Business & Mathematics from St. Cloud State University and a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University.
